Members of the regiment were kindly invited to ride on the Royal Scots Greys coach as it drove through the grounds of Windsor Great Park before going into the main arena for final judging. The judge from the Royal Mews deemed that the coach and team of horses was the best turned out and driven throughout the competition which also included The Household Cavalry, the Royal Artillery and the Royal Logistic Corps. The coach was built in Edinburgh in 1872 and was in daily use with the regiment for over forty years. It is now in private ownership where it is being excellently maintained allowing it to still be used for such amazing events.
