The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Museum is situated within the historic New Barracks at Edinburgh Castle. Our regimental story has many connections to the Castle’s own so a visit to the Museum makes for a perfect day out in Scotland’s capital city.

Limited parking is available near the Castle entrance on the Esplanade for Blue Badge holders. Please book in advance by calling 0131 225 9846 or email ecadmissions@hes.scot.
The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. There is a ramp to access the main entrance. The lift is on the ground floor by the entrance and will take visitors to the first floor where the exhibition begins.
There are no toilets in the Museum but facilities are located nearby in the Castle.
The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Regimental Shop is located in the Museum on the first floor.
